Īnother ship of this class, the Tears of Taris, was present at the bombardment of Taris and so named for it. It was later salvaged by the Sith Lord and used as his personal conveyance. Originally serving in the Republic Navy during the Mandalorian Wars, the Ravager was destroyed in orbit of Malachor V at the end of the war. The most famous vessel of the class was the Ravager used by the Sith Lord Darth Nihilus. Most vessels were either captured or destroyed by the end of the Civil War.

A limited number of these ships served in the Mandalorian Wars, and gained more traction under the command of Darth Revan, where they made up the heavyweights of his navy during the Jedi Civil War. The Centurion-class battlecruiser was intended to succeed the Inexpugnable-class command ship in the Republic Navy. Its command tower held spacious quarters for the command crew, with the bridge alone the size of a concert hall. It carried up to 96 Sith fighters and was armed with multiple turbolaser, heavy ion cannon, tractor beam and light point-defense laser cannon batteries. Details of what they intend to do with the vessel are still sketchy, though many theories exist.Twice as long as the contemporary Interdictor-class cruiser, the Centurion-class battlecruiser had increased cargo capacity and heavier firepower. Sometime after it crashed on Hoth a gang of Pirates and Scavengers known as the White Maw Pirates landed on Hoth and set up shop in the surprisingly intact Star of Coruscant. Sadly just mere months after it's completion the vessel was destroyed in its ill fated confrontation with the Imperial Fleet at Hoth in 3,665 bby, Republic commanders and sailors alike watched in horror as the "invincible" dreadnought crashed into the planet below. All that is known for certain is that the vessel was powerful beyond measure, the full extent of its weapon systems and armament remain unknown.Ĭonstructed for the Republic Navy to serve as the flagship of the Fleet, the Star of Coruscant was in no doubt the greatest ship of the Fleet.
